Rebranding Gigbee.ai: Expanding the Vision Beyond Dev Tools
When I joined Gigbee.ai, the product had just launched its MVP under the name Freedev.ai. Initially, it focused solely on helping developers with AI-powered tools like code autocompletion, GitHub-integrated repo analysis, and vulnerability scanning. All driven by a custom-built system of “AI Agents” that worked on behalf of the user.

After a series of interviews with potential enterprise clients from various industries (led by the CEO), it became clear that this AI Agent technology had the potential to do much more than just serve developers.

That insight sparked a new direction for the product and the brand. We kicked things off by evolving the identity to reflect a broader mission, inspired by the concept of a “swarm of bees” intelligently working behind the scenes for you.

What
As AI capabilities grew, so did the potential to solve complex problems. But with that came with heavily relying on chat-based interactions, slowing teams down and eating into productivity. Gigbee.ai set out to change that by creating a more focused, task-driven experience that minimized back-and-forth and maximized output.
How
Launching an MVP for Gigbee.ai with a library of “AI Agents” autonomous mini-bots that users can trigger to handle specific tasks. These agents can generate output in various formats, from HTML5 pages to audio and video files, all seamlessly previewable and shareable within the platform.
Why
The belief behind Gigbee.ai is simple: AI should help people work smarter, not harder. By moving beyond traditional chat interfaces, the platform empowers users to get real results faster, without endless prompting or iterations.
My design flow focuses on rapid prototyping and iterative improvements, ensuring the best possible results through continuous refinement.
I started by creating a Feature Map that was regularly updated. It helped me understand the information architecture and keep a clear, high-level view of the entire application.
